Malleable Iron LR Conduit Body

Conduit bodies are attached to threaded rigid or IMC conduits when a change of direction is required. Their removable cover makes general maintenance and wire pulling and feed through easy and convenient. Commonly used for electrical service entrance wires or as an economical convenience box when extra wire capacity is needed. Conduit bodies allow the installer to easily bend wires into the smooth turns. Conduit bodies are zinc electro plated and have a water-tight gasket to ensure a weatherproof installation.
